MY STORY

Sharing stories has been a constant in my professional career. This passion has taken different forms throughout the many years I lived in Hong Kong and Beijing, first as an international correspondent for Spanish and international media and later as an expert in communication and cross-cultural project management in Asia and Europe.

The exposure to different Asian cultures and lifestyles nurtured my passion for exploring creativity, personal identity and self-expression beyond the conventional methods of communication. These experiences brought me closer to the worlds of dance and movement.

Currently, I live in between London and Barcelona and I focus my professional activity on cultural diversity, identity, self-expression and creativity through writing, masterclasses at universities, talks, workshops and MindBody programmes.

I dream of a future of sustainable innovation, where all communities have space to use their own voices and co-create alternative futures. To achieve this, I believe it is crucial that care, imagination and historical memory are placed at the core of our future democracies.

I have a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Communication Sciences from Ramon Llull University, a master’s degree in Political Sciences with a specialisation in New Models of Democracy from Pompeu Fabra University and an Executive Education Course in Management and Leadership Development from the Business School at Westminster University. I am also a certified ScrumMaster©.

In addition to movement, learning languages has always been one of my greatest passions. Catalan and Spanish are my two mother tongues. I am also fluent in English, French and Mandarin. When I was in Asia, I also learnt Korean and Bahasa Indonesia and I was able to have basic conversations in both languages.

As far as movement is concerned, I am an officially certified instructor in Yoga, Animal Flow®, Mat Pilates, TRX Suspension training, Barre and PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique). I teach weekly live online sessions, offer on-demand pre-recorded content and organize several in person events such as one off movement sessions, workshops and very unique retreats where movement meets creativity through writing and other means of self-expression and connection with ourselves and the world around us.

Email me if you want to know more about what I do or if you want to discuss collaboration possibilities.
